In episode 1, Juxtaposition key changes, were discussed and how placing them within Rock and Pop music can result in quite dramatic results.
In episode 2, we're moving on to a more subtle method of changing keys by using a pivot chord. This approach offers a smoother way to transition between different keys. It's a valuable tool for songwriters and composers looking to add variety to their songs, and you may be surprised to hear where they have occurred in some of rock and pop music’s greatest songs.
